Introduction
The aim of Torrance Community Council is to improve the quality of life for all those living and working within Torrance. It is a registered Community Council is run by volunteers who use their spare time to liaise between the statutory and voluntary sectors at all levels and across a wide range of subjects including environmental issues, community safety, health and community care, policing, education, training, transport, village halls, shops, post offices, and all other rural services. It also organises and runs community social events.

Next Meeting
Torrance Community Council meetings are held at 7.30pm on the second Thursday of every month within the Community Centre. They are public meetings and anyone is welcome to attend. At most meetings there is a crime report presented by Torrance's Community Police Officer. A local Councillor attends most meetings.
